This year for Mother's Day, we want to emphasize the importance of motherhood, in its many shapes, sizes, and circumstances. We will be showcasing a few of the various types of maternal love we are privileged to witness in our Stitch World. While there are so many ways to mother, we're shining a spotlight on the magical moms around us.
My Moms have given me the gift of being two strong examples of what motherhood can be.
My biological mom, Silvana, has shown me that you can lead with vulnerability while still exuding strength. She has been a beautiful example of whenever there is a struggle, giving up is not an option. She is nurturing, thoughtful, selfless, and the list goes on.
My Other Mom (M.O.M), Sharon, has been a prime example of “showing up” even when she doesn’t have to. While not biologically my mom, she has been an integral part of my life since I was 18. She provides practicality, great golf lessons, and some big laughs to everyone she meets.
Through their balance of strength, compassion, vulnerability, and an abundance of love, they’ve allowed me to dream big knowing I will always have their support. To me, they are the embodiment of motherhood.
